When you have a high bounce rate, it generally indicates that site landing pages aren’t relevant to your visitors. Bounce rate is the percentage of all visitors who enter and leave the site on the same page, without any clicks to other pages on the site.
High bounce could mean you don’t have the well-organized landing page.
In this article, I’m sharing with you a few tips to keep your visitor interested, engaged that helps you to reduce the bounce rate and improve your conversion ratio.
1- Annoying Advertisements & Popups:
As per the recent research and study, 75% of users told they always found irrelevant popups on the sites and that is too much annoying. Due to this popup and flashy ads, most of the people get frustrated and leave your site right away.
Mostly E-commerce store owners use advertisements and popups to earn a little extra cash, but by doing this they are losing the organic visitors and it tends to increase the bounce rate of the site.
I also consider the fact that popups work, but if you want to build a long-term relationship with your customers then consider limiting or totally avoid the popups.

2- Slow page load time:
Research shows that around 45 % of online customers will leave your eCommerce site if the page takes more than 3 seconds to load. Bounce rate totally depends on the loading time of your website. The slower your website pages load, the higher your bounce rate will be.
Google crawler is also concerned with the speed of your site. You’ll lose your website ranking position in search engines if your site constantly slows to load.
3- Mobile Friendly website:
Make your site responsive. When your customers visit your website on iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices, will it display perfectly?
We’re in a smart world this is the time to take your brand to mobile because your customers have their mobile devices with them everywhere.
Again Google also prefer mobile-friendly websites to their search results. This means if your website is not responsive, no matter how useful your content and products on your site, it won’t get the good rank on search engine result pages.
